Rudolf Lange(1910-1945)

Lawyer. From 1936 employed in the Gestapo. In 1941 appointed Chief of Staff of Einsatzgruppe A and head of the group’s Einsatzkommando 2. From December 1941 Chief of Security Police and SD in Latvia. In this capacity Lange participated in the Wannsee Conference in January 1942. In the beginning of 1945 appointed Chief of Security Police and SD in Poznan (Poland). Lange died during the fighting over the city of Poznan in the spring of 1945.
