Wilhelm Frick (1877-1946)

Leading Nazi politician. One of the NSDAP’s first elected members of the Reichstag. Frick was one of only three Nazis to gain a seat in Hitler’s first cabinet, in 1933, as Reich Minister of the Interior. Frick remained in this position until 1943, where he was appointed Reich Protector of Bohemia-Moravia. At this point he had already lost all of his political influence. He was sentenced to death at the Allies’ war tribunal in Nuremberg in 1946 and subsequently executed.
